I am a lifelong liberal. The Democratic party comes closest to my views. Trump and his Republicans have been a complete disaster for our country and our planet, destroying our standing internationally, rejecting science and thus worsening the pandemic, promoting hate and violence, circumventing inconvenient laws, denying man's role in climate change. Democrats must reverse all the unthinkable harm of the last four years -- not as centrists vainly placating Republicans -- but by rebuilding America by our ideals.
